What Veil does
Every visit draws from seven live sources to build a feed you have never seen before and will never see again in the same order. The feed rotates through four time windows every thirty minutes. The images that make it through are the ones that earned it.
When a frame moves you, swipe right in the lightbox. Veil reads what stopped you and pulls a stream of related images, spliced directly into your session. The further you go, the more precisely it understands your eye.

How it gets filtered
Every image is scored before it reaches you. Reddit posts below a combined quality threshold are cut. Commercial domains, promotional copy, minimum resolution requirements, all enforced automatically. Nothing sponsored enters the feed dressed as content.
What remains is ranked by a time-weighted algorithm: strong recent work beats equally strong old work. The window rotates every thirty minutes across four modes, so the feed moves rather than settles.
Design principles
No decisions required
No categories to navigate. No preferences to configure. The feed is the only interface. When there is nothing to decide, there is nothing between you and what you came for.
Filtered before it reaches you
Seven sources means range. Scoring and filtering means the range is curated before your eye ever meets it. Volume without noise is a rare thing to find.
Credit where it belongs
Unsplash photographers are named and linked on every image they contribute. Because the people who made what you're looking at deserve to be known.
